Blackspotted Cutthroat Trout

Nevada designated the blackspotted cutthroat trout (Oncorhynchus clarki) as the official state fish in 1977. Also called westslope cutthroat trout, the blackspotted cutthroat trout is native to Montana and is on the threatened species list.
