Louisiana State Arboretum and Preservation Area covers more than 300 acres of natural growth amidst dramatic and varied topography. Picnic grounds and camping facilities are available at nearby Chicot State Park.
Established in 1961, Louisiana State Arboretum was the first state-supported arboretum in the United States.
