Maple

Maple was designated as the official state flavor of Vermont in 1993. The state quarter for Vermont also commemorates sap collecting for maple sugar.

Vermont state quarter features state motto and symbols of Vermont

Vermont became the 14th state in 1791 (see STATEHOOD ORDER).
Vermont's state quarter features Camel's Hump Mountain, sugar maple trees
