Smithville Fiddlers’ Jamboree & Crafts Festival

The Smithville Fiddlers’ Jamboree & Crafts Festival was designated the official jamboree and crafts festival of Tennessee in 1997. Event coordinator Neil Dudney said, “What we are trying to do is preserve the old time Appalachian music that our forefathers brought over here and came down through these hollars and hills..."

The annual event features hundreds of musicians, homemade crafts and a variety of foods. Music categories include:
